A history of manufacturing

For over 75 years, Nassau County, Florida has been home to Rayonier Advanced Materials and WestRock, two of the pulp and paper industry’s largest manufacturers.  With thousands of acres of timber gracing our county’s west side, paper, plastic and wood manufacturers are a natural fit for Nassau County.

Expanding our horizons

We pay homage to our county’s industrial history, yet look to the future as we pursue companies who will benefit from our abundance of natural resources, extensive logistical network and access to over 50 million consumers within an eight-hour drive.  Recently, new companies such as ALM Technologies, a supplier to Tier I, II and III aerospace manufacturers, dtw Research, a leader in the pharmaceutical and medical competitive intelligence business and Science First, a manufacturer and seller of science-based classroom products, have all chosen to relocate their business to Nassau County, Florida, bringing a new wave of industry to our community.
