FSCJ is growing its reputation as the largest, most dynamic and most influential higher education institution in Northeast Florida. The number of programs offered and the quality of our graduates produce significant economic impact on the Northeast Florida region. The economic impact of FSCJ was recently studied and findings were published in a report entitled The Economic Contribution of Florida State College at Jacksonville that was conducted by EMSI in March 2013.

  • FSCJ academic credits translate to higher earnings for students and increased output of businesses.
  • Added income attributable to the accumulation of FSCJ academic credits and skills amounts to $1.5 billion each year.
  • FSCJ served 39,975 credit students and 11,409 non-credit students in the 2014-2015 reporting year.
The NCEDB exists because of the generous support of the Nassau County Board of Commissioners, our local municipalities and economic development partners.
